Chandigarh, March 20, 2025: Deputy Speaker of the Punjab Legislative Assembly, Sardar Jai Krishna Singh Roudi, held a detailed discussion with administrative secretaries of various departments of the Punjab Government regarding the implementation of welfare schemes. During the meeting, Roudi instructed all department heads and administrative officials to ensure the complete implementation of these schemes across the state.

Roudi emphasized the need for public awareness campaigns to ensure that every section of society benefits from these welfare initiatives in a timely manner. He stressed that funds allocated for these programs should be used solely for public welfare, ensuring transparency and accountability in the utilization of public resources.

He also called for the departments to work in cohesion to effectively implement these welfare programs, so that the benefits reach the public without any hindrance.

The meeting was attended by administrative secretaries of various key departments, including Agriculture, Farmer Welfare, Animal Husbandry, Cooperation, Education, Health, Labour, Local Government, Water Resources, Social Security, and others.

During the meeting, Deputy Speaker Roudi reaffirmed the Punjab Government’s commitment to effectively implementing these welfare schemes and ensuring that the maximum benefit reaches the citizens of the state.
