Robbers Who Snatched from Medical Store Owner Arrested: Bike Fell into a Ditch While Fleeing

Police have arrested two miscreants involved in snatching from a medical store owner in Shahjahanpur. While fleeing, their bike lost control and fell into a ditch, leaving one accused seriously injured. The other suffered minor injuries.

The incident took place on March 22 in the Sindhauli police station area. Two bike-borne miscreants snatched cash and a mobile phone from Ravindra Pal, a medical store owner in Nawada Ashrafpur. The victim and local residents chased them. In panic, the robbers lost control of their bike and fell into a ditch.

With the help of villagers, both miscreants were caught. Police recovered a mobile phone, a sword, and ₹16,000 from the spot. Both accused were taken to the hospital for treatment.

One of the accused, Sanjeev alias Matru, is a resident of Hetampur in Roza police station area, while the second accused, Ravi, belongs to Vachigwa village in Lakhimpur’s Uchauliya police station area. During interrogation, they admitted to conducting a recce before committing the crime.

The seriously injured accused is undergoing treatment at the hospital, while the other has been sent to jail.
