Fatehgarh Sahib/Mandi Gobindgarh: In a significant breakthrough, the district police have apprehended seven suspects involved in a major robbery at a businessman’s office in Preet Nagar, Mandi Gobindgarh. The robbers had made away with a sum of ₹15.5 lakh, causing a serious security concern in the area.

According to District Police Chief Shubham Agarwal, the arrests were made following a comprehensive investigation into the case. During the operation, the police recovered three 32-bore pistols, ₹8 lakh in cash, an unregistered Splendor motorcycle, and a Swift car that was used in the commission of the crime.

Meanwhile, two more suspects remain at large, and police teams are actively searching for them. The authorities have assured that efforts are underway to ensure their capture and bring them to justice.

A case regarding the robbery had already been registered at the Mandi Gobindgarh police station. Law enforcement officials continue their relentless pursuit to track down the remaining accused and ensure that justice prevails.
