Etah, Uttar Pradesh – A 25-year-old married woman was found hanging under suspicious circumstances in Mubarakpur Saraiya village, under Saket police station limits. The deceased, identified as Kusma, was discovered at her in-laws’ house, raising serious concerns about dowry harassment and domestic abuse.

According to the victim’s father, Anar Singh, his daughter was constantly tortured for dowry despite fulfilling demands during her marriage to Sunil Kumar in 2020. He alleges that the in-laws, including mother-in-law Geeta Devi, frequently harassed her and even restricted her communication with outsiders.
Police Investigation Underway
Upon receiving the report, authorities, including CO Kritika Singh and police officials, reached the scene with forensic experts and a dog squad to collect evidence.
