Lucky Patial Gang Shooter Ranbir Rana to Be Brought to Chandigarh on Production Warrant in Sector 38C Firing Case

Chandigarh: In connection with the firing incident at house number 2176, Sector 38C, owned by hotelier Manjit Singh, the Chandigarh Police will soon bring gangster Lucky Patial’s aide, Ranbir Rana, on a production warrant. At present, the accused is in the custody of Mohali CIA, Kharar.
According to the complainant, Manjit Singh, he had received threat calls from Lucky Patial, demanding ₹4 crore in extortion money.
Gangster Injured in Police Encounter
On Monday, a gunfight broke out between Punjab Police and the gangster near Bhukhri village, Kharar, Mohali.
Ranbir Rana, who was riding a motorcycle, opened fire when the police signaled him to stop.
In the ensuing exchange of fire, he was shot in the leg and later taken to the hospital.
The encounter was conducted under the supervision of Inspector Harminder Singh, CIA In-charge, whose team had laid a trap in the forest area near Bhukhri village to nab the gangster.
Firing Caught on CCTV
The firing incident outside Manjit Singh’s house in Sector 38C was captured on CCTV cameras installed nearby.
The footage shows two men on a motorcycle approaching the house and firing shots while riding past.
The duo had deliberately blurred the motorcycle’s number plate to prevent tracing after the attack.
