Punjab Desk: Farmer unions in Punjab have made a major announcement amid rising tension. The organisations have declared that they will hold a sit-in protest outside DC offices on 17 and 18 December.

They further warned that if their demands are not addressed, they will intensify the agitation by blocking railway tracks across the region on 19 December.

The controversy erupted after parts of a tractor-trolley and other stolen items were recovered from the government bungalow in Nabha, leading to anger among farmers. Union leaders said the incident exposes serious administrative negligence.

Farmer organisations have stated clearly that their protest will continue until strict action is taken and satisfactory answers are provided by the authorities.
