Chandigarh: Bailable Warrants Issued Against Complainant

In the high-profile ₹1 crore robbery case involving dismissed Chandigarh Police sub-inspector Naveen Phogat, the district court has issued bailable warrants against the complainant Sanjay Goyal of Bathinda.

The court noted that despite repeated summons, the complainant failed to appear, terming his absence serious and deliberate. The court has now ordered him to be present on December 8 without fail.


Phogat alleges third-degree torture in police post

Ex-Inspector Naveen Phogat has alleged that two years ago, after he surrendered before the court, he was taken to the Palsora police post where DSP Virk, the investigating officer, and other policemen allegedly subjected him to third-degree torture.
