Kulgam: The anti-terror operation in Jammu and Kashmir’s Kulgam district entered its eighth day on Friday, making it one of the longest ongoing encounters of the year in the Valley. Security forces continue to engage terrorists hiding in the dense forest area, officials said.
According to officials, two terrorists have been killed so far, while intermittent exchange of fire continues. The challenging terrain has slowed down the offensive.
