A Senior Citizen Care Centre has been constructed by the Municipal Corporation in Arya Nagar, Firozabad, at a cost of ₹6.30 crore with the aim of providing quality residential and recreational facilities for elderly citizens. The centre will be launched soon.

Facilities at the Centre

• The centre has the capacity to accommodate 100 residents at a time.

• Mayor Kamini Rathore said the facility has been designed keeping in mind the specific needs of senior citizens.

• It includes residential accommodation, a library with books for elderly readers, and several entertainment options.

• A canteen will also be available for residents.

• At present, the Municipal Corporation is preparing for the operation and management of this centre.
