Fog Impact: Railways Cancels Several Punjab-Linked Trains; Full List Released

With dense fog expected across North India in the coming winter months, train services in Punjab are set to be significantly affected. Indian Railways has announced the temporary cancellation of several major trains to ensure passenger safety and prevent accidents caused by low visibility.

According to officials, visibility drops sharply during December to February, increasing the risk of mishaps. As a precaution, the Railways has cancelled multiple long-distance trains between 1 December 2025 and 3 March 2026.

    Cancelled from 3 December 2025 to 2 March 2026

  • Train 14618 – Amritsar to Purnia Court
    Cancelled from 1 December 2025 to 28 February 2026

  • Train 15903 – Dibrugarh to Chandigarh
    Cancelled from 1 December 2025 to 27 February 2026

  • Train 15904 – Chandigarh to Dibrugarh
    Cancelled from 3 December 2025 to 1 March 2026

  • Train 18013 – Tatanagar to Amritsar
    Cancelled from 1 December 2025 to 25 February 2026

  • Train 18104 – Amritsar to Tatanagar
    Cancelled from 3 December 2025 to 27 February 2026
