Faridkot, Punjab – Gunshots were fired late last night near the Sadar Police Station in Faridkot, Punjab. The incident reportedly stemmed from an altercation between young men over car crossing, which escalated into a firing exchange.

According to preliminary information, the dispute began when a resident of Mohalla Maikhana was returning home after dinner around 9:30 PM. He got into an argument with another car driver over passing each other on the road. The situation quickly spiraled, leading one of the individuals to fire his licensed revolver.

DSP Jagtar Singh confirmed the incident, stating that while police action has been initiated, no formal complaint has been filed by either party involved in the dispute so far. Authorities are currently investigating the matter.
