A medical store owner from Narnaul has gone missing under suspicious circumstances. The man, Nirmal Kumar, who has been running a medicine shop in a private hospital for the last 10 years, has not returned home since Wednesday morning. His wife has filed a complaint with the police, alleging that he was being constantly harassed by local financers.

Missing Since Wednesday Morning

Nirmal Kumar, a resident of Shastri Colony, operated Gajal Medicos near Hemant Hospital on Mahendragarh Road.
According to the family, he has been missing since 11:30 AM on Wednesday.

Family members revealed that he had been under severe mental and physical stress due to pressure and constant harassment from some financers over the past few days. They believe this stress forced him to leave home suddenly.

Complaint Filed by Wife

His wife, Sarojbala, filed a missing person report at the Narnaul City Police Station. She stated that her husband’s mental condition had deteriorated significantly in recent days.

She also mentioned that Nirmal Kumar had written a handwritten letter about his troubles a few days ago, which the family had submitted to the SP office.

Father of Two School-Going Children

In her police complaint, Sarojbala said that the couple has two children — a son and a daughter, both studying in school.

She also described her husband’s appearance:

• Height: approx. 6 feet

• Clothing at the time of disappearance: Blue jacket, blue jeans, and grey shoes

The complaint was lodged at the city police station, after which the police registered a case and began the search operation.

Rising Cases Linked to Financer Harassment

The issue of harassment by financers has been a serious concern in Narnaul. Several incidents have been reported in which people allegedly took extreme steps due to the pressure.

Recent cases include:

• A youth from Mohalla Mahal who died after consuming poison

• Another incident in Purani Sarai, where a youth consumed toxic substance and remained hospitalized for days

• A barber who died earlier under similar circumstances

A tragic incident from last year also stands out — a Punjabi family died by suicide inside a Thar vehicle after consuming poison, allegedly due to harassment by financers.
