Ambala:
During a public hearing held at the PWD Rest House in Ambala Cantonment, Cabinet Minister Anil Vij adopted a tough stance in a serious case of property fraud and ordered immediate action.
Key highlights of the case:
-
Property fraud complaint: A person alleged that a property dealer took a large sum of money in the name of selling a plot but neither executed the land registry nor returned the money.
-
Immediate orders: Minister Anil Vij directed police officers on the spot to register an FIR immediately and arrest the accused.
-
Reprimand to police: Expressing displeasure over delays in some cases, Vij warned that “any laxity in addressing public complaints will not be tolerated.”
-
Other grievances heard: Apart from property-related issues, the public hearing also addressed complaints related to immigration fraud (kabootarbazi), delays in police investigations, and more than 150 complaints linked to the municipal corporation.
Known for his decisive “Gabbar-style” approach, Anil Vij once again demonstrated swift decision-making to ensure justice for the public.
