Two Arrested by Economic Offences Wing for Bank Loan Fraud in Panchkula

The Economic Offences Wing (EOW) has arrested two accused in a case involving the procurement of a bank loan using forged documents. The case is linked to the State Bank of India (SBI), Sector 15, Panchkula, where the accused allegedly obtained a loan worth several lakhs of rupees by submitting fake documents and identity proofs.

According to Investigating Officer Jora Singh, the arrested accused have been identified as Rahul and Abhishek. Earlier, another accused, Jaswant Singh, had already been sent to judicial custody in connection with the same case.

Rahul has been placed on four-day police remand, during which he will be questioned about his possible involvement in other similar fraud cases.

Police officials said the investigation is ongoing, and further arrests cannot be ruled out as more details emerge.
